My 8 year old self would be disappointed that I haven't (yet) become a saint and that I still don't have a pony. But she'd be thrilled that I have a red car!

My 8 year old self would think it's rad that I dress however the hell I want to dress, in all the colors of the rainbow, that I have pink hair and that I get to make a living as a graphic designer (I was told that wasn't a real job lol!) - I'd tell them to keep expressing themselves creatively no matter what anyone says about it! Your weird is precious!

I think my 8-year-old self would be surprised at where I am today, but overall pretty happy. When I was eight my biggest loves were princesses and movies. If you had told me back then that I would live at Disney World for 8 months, I probably would've combusted. If you had told me that I would get to do script coverage for a Netflix TV show, I would have cried. I think my 8-year-old self would be really proud of what I've done.

If I could give myself one piece of advice it would be this: It's not that serious. I took a lot of things to heart as a kid, put my all into everything I did, and sometimes got burned from caring too much about things that didn't' deserve my energy. Looking back, I wish I had relaxed a little and had more fun. Working hard is great, but knowing when to step back and enjoy life is a skill I wish I'd learned earlier.

My 8 year old self would wonder why my current self isn't the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns. I'd tell my 8 year old self to live every day of summer break to the fullest!

She would think I'm old lol but hopefully also wiser. My advice to her would be that what other people think of you is their business, not yours. What you think about yourself is what matters.

My 8 year old self would be SO proud of my current self. As a child, I was so painfully shy and such a homebody so my younger self would be to inspired (and a little shocked) to know that my older self moved away from home for 6+ years all the way to Colorado!

For advice, I would tell my younger self to keep being you and keep being kind. And to give yourself more grace. You are growing up at your own pace and that's all that matters!
