Meet a CSGer: Caroline

You probably know Caroline has mad pitching skills — but did you know she can craft circles around most people? Read on to uncover more cool Caroline facts!

CSGer by day, crafter by night

I was not given the “athletic” trait like most, so naturally I resorted to the arts and crafts side of the world. After work you will most likely find me in the kitchen destroying my counters with mod podge, melting wax for candles, or painting. This past winter, I found my hidden talent…nutcrackers. I take just a plain wooden nutcracker and transform it into whatever you would like…a skier, ballerina, and yes even Deion Sanders (as you can see in the picture).

Unexpected football lover

I discovered the game of football within the past couple of years, and I am hooked. From September - February you will find me every Saturday and Sunday glued to the TV. While they often give me a heart attack and sometimes I question my loyalty, I am a dedicated Colorado (sko!) and Minnesota Vikings (skol!) fan. However, I've come to the conclusion that it's best for me to catch the games from the comfort of my own home. Despite my enthusiasm, I've yet to experience a game in-person where the Vikings or Buffs win, but I am hoping to turn that luck around next year (if my family invites me back…).

Lake girl at heart

Growing up and living in Minnesota, you become an automatic lake lover. For all of my life, I have spent every weekend in the summer on the lake with my family and friends and they truly are my fondest memories. Driving to the coffee shop every morning with my grandpa, spending the entire day on the water surfing and skiing until dinner time, and winding down by the fire at night with smores and late night chats. The routine has never changed, and I love it.

Taylor Swift fanatic

I, along with my three siblings, am a psychotic Taylor Swift fan. We could not be prouder. Since her first tour, we have been hooked. Our sibling group chat floods with Taylor Swift content hourly, whether it is us breaking down what surprise songs she chose, her recent outfit choices, or her relationship with Travis, it is constantly buzzing. Our parents are still wondering whether they should be concerned or proud of our obsession. We spent our entire summer together watching blurry livestreams of the Eras Tour, anticipating what surprise songs she would choose. We were all fortunate enough to see the Eras Tour live twice, and I am still recovering.
