Meet a CSGer: Bri

From intern extraordinaire to VP, Bri has made her mark on CSG. Get to know the woman behind that big brain with these fast Bri facts!

It Was My Fluffy Doods

I have two four legged children already: Finley is a Sheepadoodle and Walter is a Bernedoodle. In our house, Finley is queen and we are all her peasants, including Walter. Everyday, she steals all of the dog toys from around the house, then lays on top of them so that Walter can’t have any fun. He doesn’t mind though, because he gets all the pets to make up for it.

Telluride Travels

Technically not a native, but I spent the majority of my life in Colorado and despite all of the mountain towns I’ve visited, Telluride is my favorite. Currently, I’m on a 20 year streak of traveling to Telluride every year, although 2022 might end that trend due to a new little human joining our family (And I’m okay with that). There’s never a bad time to go to Telluride, but if you visit in the summer, the best after-hike activity is eating Brown Dog Pizza and drinking a John Daly from the New Sheridan Hotel.

Allergic to Everything But Ice

In case you were wondering, it is possible for a single person to be allergic to all of the following and survive: peanut butter, chocolate, green peppers, shellfish, beef, pork, dairy, gluten, corn, tomatoes, soy, and cod fish. Before you feel bad for me, I don’t miss any of those food groups because of how terrible they make me feel. I actually feel lucky because gluten free and dairy free diets are more and more common than they used to be, so I can still enjoy a cookie. It just might crumble more than a gluten-filled one.

Tatted

I’m the oldest, so I had to break the rules growing up. Including the one about “no tattoos.” Over a decade later, I somehow convinced my entire family of tattoo virgins to get the same one. I swear they are happier about it than they look. Both my parents went back for seconds.

Yoga

I wouldn’t be me without mentioning my love for yoga. I’m a certified instructor, although I have hung up my studio teaching life for a personal practice for now. I think it’s important in today’s world to know how to protect your peace, and yoga is my safe space.
